HTC Vive Release Date and Price Announced.
Sorry, this one took a bit to write. Not because of any reticence to write this, but because of sticker shock. There’s good news and bad news about the HTC Vive VR.
The good news is, it ships in April.
The bad news is? $799.00. That’s right. SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY NINE DOLLARS.
Yeah, I want to see what our VR overlords have for us, but in the days where I can’t justify buying a new-gen system for this site until I pick up full time work, $800 has me feeling a bit faint.
