No new “mainline” Assassin’s Creed in 2016.

This might be the most shocking news of the year. There will be no new Mainline Assassin’s Creed in 2016.., as Ubisoft looks to see how they can pull the same type of game, but better out of new technologies.

This may confuse you as, just a couple days ago, I mentioned that Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Trilogy were being released this week, they are not “mainline” Assassin’s Creed games, and instead rely on 2.5D technology.
